Our Story! |
Valley Fresh Cherries & Stonefruits is a family-owned and operated horticulture and livestock enterprise, situated in the Hilltops Region on the Olympic Highway (nee Wombat Road) 7km South of Young, NSW.
*Cherry Season begins in mid-November and continues until late December. Sugar Plums Season end January through to end February.
*Fruit is picked, hydro-cooled, and placed in cold storage within the hour. Quality control procedures are in place throughout the picking and packing process to ensure the fruit is at the highest premium standard when received by the consumer, and for this, our produce is globally recognised.
*The core of Valley Fresh Cherries' mission is pursuing excellence in every cherry produced. Every step of the cultivation process is carefully monitored, from soil health and irrigation practices to pest management and harvesting techniques. Advanced agricultural practices, including integrated pest management and precision agriculture, ensure that the cherries are grown without compromising environmental integrity. This attention to detail results in cherries that are not only visually stunning but also rich in flavour and nutritional value
*All fruit is hand-picked and processed on site through our very own state-of-the-art packing facility, using the latest technology - GP Optical Grading Machine.

Our History |
* Valley Fresh Cherries & Stonefruits was established in 2005 by Barisha and Kathy Batinich, when the opportunity arose to purchase a cherry and stonefruit orchard on the outskirts of Young NSW, (Hilltops Region). And now a few years on, helped by our three children Brodie, Lachlan and Elissa.
